When I set out to create this editorial, I envisioned a wedding aesthetic that felt both modern and timeless—sophisticated yet deeply romantic. Inspired by the interplay of light and shadow, this shoot was designed to celebrate the beauty of contrast through a black-and-white palette.

The Vision Behind the Editorial

As a wedding and editorial photographer based in the South of France, my goal is to create visual stories that feel immersive and emotional. With my experience photographing editorials in Provence and the French Riviera, I wanted this shoot to reflect the elegance and refinement that define luxury weddings in this region.

The poetic gowns from Millia London were the perfect starting point. Their ethereal silhouettes created a sense of movement, making the bride appear as if she were floating. These designs embodied the balance I wanted to achieve—where softness meets structure, and simplicity meets extravagance.

Crafting a Cohesive Atmosphere

Finding the right setting was essential. We chose a clean, minimalist indoor space that allowed the details to shine without interference. With the expertise of Laura Patrice (our wedding planner) and Sarah from Capsule de Rêves (our wedding designer), we curated a design that played with textures and layers rather than overwhelming color.

Anna Marie from Afleuressences incorporated florals in neutral tones to soften the contrast, adding depth to the overall look. Meanwhile, Mathilde from Promesse Graphique designed an invitation suite and menu that tied everything together—chic, modern, and in complete harmony with our vision.
