Lavender season is finally here, bringing dreamy landscapes and endless photo opportunities! As a Provence-based photographer, I often get questions about the best time and place for a lavender shoot. The iconic fields of the Plateau de Valensole bloom from late June to mid-July, with peak beauty around the first weeks of July before harvest.
The best time for photos?
Sunrise (around 05:30) or Sunset (around 20:30), when the light is soft and magical.
