While celebrating the marriage of their friends in Wichita, Kansas, a wedding day intended for one love story ended up having more than one happy ending. Since the bridesmaid was unable to attend, Kristynn stepped in to fill her role. And while she did so happily, she never realized that she would meet Til, the emcee of the wedding, who would soon become the man of her dreams.

THE PROPOSAL

Kristynn and Til spent Memorial Day weekend in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, enjoying the resort, the beach, and the sun. Even though Kristynn figured that her brother had drummed up the idea for the trip, Til kept acting strange, as if something was on his mind.

After Kristynn refused Til’s offer to walk the beach (she was in heels!), Til found a secluded seating area where he and Kristynn could get away from the crowds. By the time Kristynn turned around to acknowledge Til’s voice, Til was on one knee proposing to the love of his life.

They had always joked about Til proposing on the beach, so Kristynn wasn’t completely sure Til was serious from the start. But when she saw the sincerity in Til’s face, she knew there was nothing left to say but YES.

THE WEDDING

Since Kristynn works in event planning, she’s very familiar with the stress and pressure often surrounding the bride and groom on their big day. In an effort to avoid this strain, Kristynn knew her day had to be intimate, secluded, and special.

First, she knew she had to find a breathtaking location that would capture the beauty of the day and the beauty of the couple coming together. Having fallen in love with the lavender fields of Provence, France, she was sure that the grounds of Le Domaine de Capelongue were perfect for their special day.

The day of the wedding was everything they had dreamed it to be. The focus was on the couple celebrating their love in a private and intimate moment with no stress, no pressure, no judgment of an audience watching.

It was an honor to shoot such a private and love-filled day for Kristynn and Til. As they walked through the stunning lavender fields hand in hand, the love they share for each other radiated.

I could not think of a better way to celebrate their love for one another than in a private ceremony across the world in a stunning location. The intimate backdrop of their wedding matched their love for each other, and it will be a day I remember forever.
